A freelance finish!

I just wanted to take the time to share the project I worked on this spring. This booklet and sticker was for the International Women’s Brass Conference hosted by Western Michigan University’s School of Music. Organizing this booklet and all of its information was a good challenge, but using my grid and thoughtfully breaking it made it easier to put the puzzle together. My favorite part was designing the calendar table (in the first spread featured). I get a great amount of nerdy joy from organizing information. I used the graphic grey boxes to highlight some of the secondary information in a more exciting way. I’m sharing some of my favorite spreads below, but feel free to take a look at the full version.

The sticker was a last minute add-on project intended for participants to take with them and put on their musical instrument cases. A simple design was just the ticket to accompany the strong photograph.

Hope you enjoyed this look at my most recent work. I am excited to move on to other projects that challenge and excite me like this one did.
