Well helloooooo again! I am now back from my honeymoon. Christopher and I had a great time together. We traveled around the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore. Very relaxing and such a great way to celebrate our newly wed life. We spent a couple quite nights in and days traveling the wine trail of the Leelanau Peninsula. It was pure heaven.
We were there
I had a little time to take outfit photos while we were up north too. The cabin we stayed at was on a beautiful piece of property with a couple of little sheds that were once used by a female blacksmith. I love thinking about all of the projects that were made while these buildings were in their hayday. It was so much fun to take photos in this dramatic landscape.
On this particular day, it was chilly outside and I was thanking my lucky stars for my impulse packing of my large maroon sweater that I got back when I was in high school. I am very glad I decided to keep it all these years, it have proven to be a timeless piece. On our trip I got this great green beaded necklace from Cottonseed Apparel while in Glen Arbor, it is so much fun, well made and a huge statement. I also got another pair of Minnetonka moccasins, this pair has just a leather sole. They are so comfortable and I’ve been wearing them like crazy since I’ve gotten them (no big surprise there)!
one of my favorite honeymoon photos <3
Stick around for more to come. I am going to be scaling back my blog posts a little while I try to tie up some loose ends from the wedding, but I have some cool things planned. The ‘to-do’ lists never seem to end, do they?
