A few weekends ago I had very summer-y mini vacation. My husband and I joined some of our friends who rented a beach house for the week. We lounged at the beach by day, ate many freeze pops and played games like Catan at night.
I pretty much stayed in my bathing suit and beach cover the entire time. The dress I am wearing in the photos was a great find from a long overdue thrifting trip. I love how it looks like I could be an extra from the 90′s TV SHOW Baywatch. The cutout back is my favorite part of this dress-turned-beach cover.
The house we stayed in while vacationing was in a residential area and on the way in a vacant factory building that was for sale caught my eye. It was just begging to be photographed to which I happily obliged.
These days I have been trying to make the most of these summer days and nights, going to the pool when I can and being outside. This time of year goes by so quickly and I still have so much that I would like to do. Luckily I have some great summer fun planned for this weekend by way of the Allegan County Fairgrounds flea market. I am sure I will see some incredible things.
