Okay, I realize that the title of this post is a wee bit cheesy, but I couldn’t resist! I attended the Kalamazoo Civic Theatre’s premier showing of Legally Blonde the musical with a fellow co-worker of mine. We grabbed drinks at Zazio’s first and walked over to the theatre. The show was great. I had never seen the musical production before (only the movie) so it was a real treat, that and some co-worker bonding. Can’t beat that!
I love a good excuse to get dressed up. Going to a show was the perfect reason to throw on this magenta lace dress with teal lining that I got while I was in Chicago over Labor Day weekend. And the pink shoes? Why not! I was going to see a very girly show where the protagonist’s signature color was pink, after all!
The night turned out to be a great time. Grabbing drinks, a show, and dessert all on a Thursday night is not a bad way to live at all.
