The reception started with our group having some hors d’oeuvres and then we walked down to greet our guests. Christopher was perfectly composed and I was bursting with joy (typical).

We started off by changing our relationship status on facebook to ‘married’. This was a very fun way to make it REALLY official in front of everyone. Because we all know that it isn’t official until it’s on facebook! haha!

Literally the FIRST decision we made as we were planning our wedding was our Jones Soda favors. It was perfectly fitting because it was our (my new) last name and being able to personalize the color and photos made it extra special. Check out their website to see more. It was so much fun to get these guys in the mail.
I thought it would be a perfect way to tie in the Jones soda bottles to the rest of the wedding by having the cartons as part of the center pieces. I just put some chalkboard contact paper over the image that was already there and had our names written on one side and the date on the other side.

The card box was made with a HUGE cardboard gift box and chalkboard paint. The bunting was made using Elizabeth’s tutorial. I love how they turned out and I kind of want to hang them in our apartment somewhere…

All of the speeches were so thoughtful. I had to fight back the tears more than once.

We also decided to have a photobooth at our wedding. We knew we wanted one 4 years ago when our friends had one at their wedding. The best part was getting our guest book at the end of the night. It had the photos pasted inside and notes written from each of our guests.
