This is first post featuring my brand new hair! A week ago I made the somewhat impulsive decision to cut my hair and I’ve been really enjoying it. Managing it is so much easier now. I had my hair done at Bliss Salon in Kalamazoo. My friend, Jami recommended them. It’s a very small place with great prices and stylists. After my cut my hair was curled with a curling rod. I liked the result so much that I decided to buy this one the next day. Now that my hair doesn’t weigh so much it retains volume much better. This is one heck of an added bonus that I’ve been playing up a lot this week.

The look I’m showing today is a very casual one. Outfits like this one is pretty much how I dress on weekends. I like the simplicity and how comfortable I feel.

When it comes to my design life, I’ve felt very inspired to create and try new things (I have my job to thank for that). Using this tutorial, this tutorial, and this typeface I created this fun little mini project. I hope to bring some of these new elements into future projects with my blog as well as my 9 to 5.
