finding love in the details

This is something I wore on Valentine’s Day and loved it so much that I wanted to revisit it again. Red is a color I really don’t own much of which is probably because it’s so intense. This skirt changed my attitude a bit. The hue is just perfect, in my opinion. Also, the detail on the back is what hooked me. Small details really make a huge difference. This jacket has been a lot of fun to wear around town. Having a mix of a jean and fake leather is something I’ve had an eye out for a while now in terms of jackets. I was really happy when the stars aligned at good old TJ’s when I found this one. I’ve been really loving the pieces in my closet lately and I think I’m doing a better job of selecting what to add when I do so I get the most use out of everything.  Some of the best advice I read lately has been “All, and I mean every single thing you own, should make you feel great, from your cashmere sweaters and jeans, to your evening wear.” via goop Great words to live by.
