A LOT has been on my mind lately. Unfortunately, none of it has been updated on this blog. I unintentionally took a 1-ish month sabbatical of sorts. I must have really needed it. Even though it wasn’t planned, I made some great ground on other parts of life. I’ve been concentrating on cooking more at home and getting good nights of sleep so of course something had to suffer. But that doesn’t mean I am throwing in the towel with my piece of the internet. I’m working on a way to add another spinning plate back to my life.
One of the most impactful things I’ve seen during my month off was the Happy Show in Chicago. When I read the excerpt on the wall photographed above it pretty much summed up how I’ve been feeling in one beautiful funny insightful snip-bit.
So I got to thinking about what I’ve been slowly realizing as my focus in life is shifting yet again. Life continues to teach if you let it. Enjoy!
One good decision will lead to another.
A baby step forward is still forward.
Appreciating each day is easier when you stop constantly looking ahead.
It’s okay to be selfish sometimes.
You can never say ‘I love you’ too much.
Listen to your body.
More opportunities lie ahead tomorrow.
Honesty gives you perspective.
An open mind will make change easier.
You have more power than you think.
Moderation gives you power.
The Golden Rule is the only rule.
